Mussoorie popularly known as the Queen of Hills is situated at a height of 2005 meters above sea level. Mussoorie is known for the lush green mountains, the varied flora and fauna, the exotic view of the Shivalik Range. The place derives its name from the Mansoor shrub which is found in large quantity over here. The history of the place can be dated back to 1825 when a shooting range was created over here by the then British rulers.
