  1. About birla mandir

    Birla Mandir is an attractive Hindu Temple located beneath Moti Dingri Hill. The temple was constructed by the Birlas in 1988 using superior quality white marble. Lord Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi are the main deities of the temple and hence it also referred as Lakshmi Narayan Temple. There are many other deities, including a wonderful idol of Lord Ganesha. There are intricate carvings and images of philosophers and saints like Buddha, Christ, Socrates, Confucius, etc., and several mythological events from Hindu scriptures.Three domes of the temple symbolize three different concepts of religion. A garden with lush green trees surrounds the temple. A museum in the temple complex displays the ancestral valuables of the Birlas.
