About kanak vrindavan garden
Kanak Vrindavan is a beautiful garden in Jaipur located below Nahargarh hill and very near to Jal Mahal Lake. It was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh for the entertainment of the royal family. There is a temple in the garden, called Govind Deoji Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. The garden, which is divided into eight sections, has beautifully landscaped lawns, a number of trees, and a number of fountains. The main fountain called Parikarma is made out of single piece of white marble. The garden is a popular picnic spot of Jaipur and a favorite site for film shootings. You can enjoy the beauty of the garden as well as the picturesque view of the surrounding areas. You can also spot a wide range of migratory birds like spotted dove, kingfisher and Neelkanth.
