Kalachakra refers to the cycle of time and the system of Kalachakra presents the cycles such as internal, external and alternative. Kalachakra festival is one of the largest festivals of Buddhists which aims at World Peace and Harmony. Lakhs of people of Buddhist faith from all over the world attend the festival to listen to the teachings on compassion. The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama initiates the Kalachakra teachings to the devotees. The Buddhist monks release positive energy for the benefit of the entire world. The first Kalachakra festival was held in 1954 which was initiated by the 14th Dalai Lama. The 34th Kalachakra was held on 3rd to 14th January 2017 at Bodh Gaya.
