  1. About ramdevra fair

    Ramdevra Fair is 10-day annual fair held in Ramdevra village in Jaisalmer in memory of Baba Ramdev. Baba Ramdev was a saint with miraculous powers who lived in that region in the 15th century and was regarded as an incarnation of Lord Krishna. The fair is held from Bhadon Sudi 2 to Bhadon Sudi 11 as per Hindu calendar, which falls in August - September. Thousands of devotees, irrespective of caste or religion, reach the Baba Ramdev temple and sing night-long Bhajans and kirtans throughout the fair. They offer coconut, rice, and wooden horses to Lord Ramdevji.
